For today’s blog post I am going to be a little nostalgic and pay homage to one of my first scrapbooking supplies. Brads! I still have lots of them and once in a while I have to remind myself to use them more often. Here on my page (inspired by PageMaps, and Just Nick’scutting files) I used some star shaped brads along the little border strip as a subtle accent.

A really simple way to dress up brads is to tie a few loops or twine or jute and anchor them behind the brad before adding them to your project. Easy peasy!
