I would like to share the CHA project which I have done for Maya Road earlier on in Jan 2016. I love making this project - lots. It's one of those projects with special meaning, and I enjoyed every step of this creation.
With the new product line of dies under Maya Road now, I am thrilled with every single one of them! The dies are absolutely beautiful - my absolute must have! The designs are filled beauty and usefulness, dies which I can use again and again, over and over again. *Super Loves* Did I mention before that I really adore the color of the die? My favorite color!
The album is built with the MR Chipboards - sturdy and thick enough for a good touch. I made use of the MR Glitter tape on the edges to give a little shine to the album, and at the same time outlining the hand stitched album spine. This album, I decided to use the MR red cords for this sewing. It is inspired by a double star stitching. The thick cords allow the design to look solid on the album spine, and I also added the flower centers to give definition to each of the double stars. I totally love these flower centers by MR, they are so versatile in terms of use that I have every single color hoarded for use on my upcoming projects!
For the front cover, I decided to use a more centered orientation. The word "friend" is die-cut on white glitter paper, though it doesn't show very much on photo. I love this font, it's worthy as a title and a sub-title so the use of this die is not restricted. Also, the die-cut cuts very well on even thicker paper like glitter paper! I love it when the quality of dies are so durable!
Another die I love is the new Maya Road die - Star! I love stars! This is special and can be used in any occasion - timeless edition to add to the die collections! Another one that I can foresee using it again and again!
Here's a closer look to the layers of MR goodies I added to the front cover.
I sticked the die-cut word "friend on a thicker transparency and thereafter glued it to the chipboard butterfly. Another evergreen MR collection! I just gave it a light silver mist on the chipboard and it can be used immediately on any projects. The doily, hexagon chipboard pieces (colored with red marker), wood tokens, kraft frame sayings all layered up easily and complements each of the elements! This is why I love using MR products!
Another of my new favorites are the wood tokens. It should really be the best friend of every crafter!
Did you see the die-cut star and lace there? I just had to take another close-up for the front cover!
Taking a look on the inside page. Here's one of the pages, I've added the pictures and found it easily decorated. Did you see the new goodies? 2 new steel dies on this page here - feather and "with love". Add some cord and wood tokens, viola, a page is done quickly!
