Hi Roadies! We are having the best weather in Florida at the moment, so I thought I'd share this cheery little project with you today. If the weather's not so good in your "neck of the woods" I hope this makes you feel a little sunnier :)
I decided to make my Trinket Box into a wall hanging, I kept it very simple and basically just repeated the elements in each compartment, using lots of bright colors and fun embellishments.
The rolled patterned paper was held together with chipboard ovals (from the Mixed Chipboard Set) that were embellished with Zipper Trim, Wood Bingo Mofits and twine.
As you can see I used Trinket Pins in the center of my pinwheels, as well as chipboard pieces from the Mini Scalloped set. To hold the pin steady and upright, I threaded it through the chipboard pieces, the pinwheel and the square chipboard piece (that comes with the trinket box). Then I bent the pin at the back of the square and taped it in place, before adhering the piece to the box.
These little boxes are so much fun to work with. How cool would it be to make 4 of these and hang them in a grouping in your kids room or in your office. The possibilities are just endless!! :)
Have a wonderful week, Roadies!
