Create Your Own Designs With Maya Mists

Maya Road

Hello everyone, I have created a little project using Maya Mits. I made this little project to show yet another way to use Maya Mists.

You will need the following items:

1.    Maya Mists Green

2.    1 page from The 2 Ring Scallop Layer Book

3.    1 Star Chipboard Coaster Book

4.    2 Small Supernova Stars

5.    1 Sheer Scallop Card Square

6.    1 piece Red Double Stitched Velvet

7.    1 Red Circle Ribbon Slide

8.    Glitter

9.    Stencil for spraying (I used a tree)

10.    Patterned paper that can be coloured

11.    Tulle

12.    Glossy Accent

13.    Smal amount of Beaded wire

14.    Jenni Bowlin BIngo card

15.    1 Trinkets Button Grass

To Create cover the page from the scallop layer book with paper, place stencil and spray a light even coat.

Gently remove stencil and allow to dry.

Use Glossy Accent and apply to the tree area.

Once the glossy accent is dry spray more Maya Mist till you get the desired colour effect. The spray can then be gently wiped off the glossy accent.

Once you are happy with the colour, its then simply a case of adding all the elements to the base.

Glitter the tips of the star coaster book and the 2 stars. I used a chunky glitter for this.

Attach the bingo card to the base and add the grass button with thread to the bingo card.

Attach the star coaster.

Use scraps of paper and cut 2 rough circles. I coloured one with mist. Use a scallop punch to cut 2 different size circles.

Cut 2 rough circles out of tulle. Slightly crumple all the circles then layer largest to smallest on top of the bingo card. Once you are happy with the placement adhere all the layers together. The tips of each of the star shape.

Use the small square sheer journal card as a photo mat and staple on the photo. Use the beaded wire and wrap around the photo then adhere to the layered circles.

Add the red double stitched velevt to the base of the project and add the red ribbon slide.

Layer the stars on top using a strong adhesive.

And thats it. I hope you enjoy this little project
