Today I will share with you how you can make your own fabric Christmas trees with Maya Road's canvas Triangle Banners!
To make this first tree you will need a package of Canvas Triangle Banners. Using three of those banners cut a piece of fabric into a triangle shape that will fit inside the canvas triangle.
Using adhesive of your choice adhere these fabric triangles onto the canvas. Glue the inside edges of the canvas pieces together to create your "tree". Finally, adhere your border to the bottom of the tree to hide the "holes". Fill the inside of the tree with cotton batting or whatever you have handy!
The second tree I made using Maya Road Black Gingham Ribbon, canvas triangle banner pieces, double sided tape, and Martha Stewart glass beads.
First I took my ribbon and adhered it to my canvas. Next apply your double sided tape and apply beads. Continue to alternate ribbon with beading on "tree". Again, using your fabric adheasive glue the inside edges of your canvas pieces. For this tree I made sure to cover the grommet holes with the ribbon. To finish both trees off I used a Maya Road Star Pin! These pins come clear but you can use a cotton swab and a bit of alcohol ink to color your start whatever color you would like. I chose to keep one star clear and colored the other one red!
I hope you are inspired to create your own one-of-a kind tree using Maya Road's canvas triangle banners.
