Bling Up Your Love!

I'm in love. With glitter. Yes, I think I might have a serious addiction to adding some bling-bling to my Maya Road chipboards. I love how pretty a project looks with a sparkly touch of glitter, bling, or Maya Road's Metallic Mist! So for this project, I'll share with you some of my favorite ways to add a little sparkle to your projects! And tell me at the end of the blog post, if you won't love bling-ing as much as I do! :)

I recently found these pink Christmas wreaths at the Dollar Store, and thought they would be perfect for a Valentine's project. Truthfully, I bought them mainly because I like pink!

Wreath

Instructions

Step 1: Ink the square scallop frame, birds, and LOVE chipboard pieces with a color similar to the glitter of your choice. Let dry.

Step 2: Apply a fair amount of liquid glue over inked chipboard pieces. Sprinkle glitter over the glued pieces, shake off excess glitter and leave aside to dry and set.

Step 3: Mist the scallop heart chipboard with metallic silver Maya Mist. Leave aside to dry and set.

Step 4: Time to assemble! I used a hot glue gun to adhere the different elements to the pink wreath.

Adhere the glittered square scallop frame to your favorite picture.
Adhere frame to wreath, with glittered LOVE on top of the frame.
Tie your ribbon into a bow with a bling ribbon slide through the knot. Adhere to wreath.
Adhere two suede stitched blossoms (with those gorgeous jewel bling centres). Add velvet leaves.

Adhere the two glittered birds chipboard to the Misted scallop heart chipboard. Further embellish with a metallic-inked heart chipboard, stamped with XOXO. Punch a hole at the top, knot a ribbon through and tie to the assembled wreath.
